What should the code open or show?
A web address, or any text, such as a short message or a phone number.
Free QR code tool
Make a QR code for a link or any text, then download it as PNG or SVG. The code holds your link itself, so it never expires and needs no account, and Doodleden™ adds no redirect that could track scans.
Made in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded or stored.
A web address, or any text, such as a short message or a phone number.
The defaults suit most uses. Test the code before you print many copies.
Type a link or text above.
Check it before you print: scan it with your phone, or open the downloaded file in the QR Code Reader.
Many free QR code makers create a "dynamic" code: it points to the maker's own short link, which then sends people to your page. The maker can count every scan through that link, and some stop working when a free trial ends. This generator makes a static code instead. The code holds your link or text itself, so it works for as long as the link does, with no account and no Doodleden™ link in between. Doodleden™ never sees who scans it. The website the code opens can still count its own visits, as it can for any link.
Because a static code holds the link itself, it cannot be changed after you print it. Make a new code if the link changes.
The code is made in your browser. What you type is not sent to Doodleden™ or anyone else, not stored on your device, and not put in the page address.
The encoding uses the QR Code generator library by Project Nayuki, under the MIT licence. Doodleden™ serves it from its own site.
