What this reader can read

The text is shown exactly as the code holds it, including spaces and line breaks. Wi-Fi, contact and other special codes are shown as their raw text, which is what a phone would read before acting on it.

Private by design

The image is read in your browser. It is not sent to Doodleden or anyone else and not stored. The text it holds, which may include a Wi-Fi password or contact details, stays on your screen only.

Reading uses jsQR (an open-source project on GitHub), under the Apache License 2.0. Doodleden serves it from its own site.

Nothing you enter is uploaded to or stored by Doodleden. This site is funded by advertising; our ad partners use cookies and similar technologies as described in our privacy policy.
